Calling all artists in the Northwestern Ontario Métis Community!
Come join us and display your art for the Northwestern Ontario Métis Community Art Crawl in Fort Frances, Ontario on September 12, 2025!
Applicants/artists must be Métis citizens, and must complete the application in full to be eligible for consideration. A limited number of display tables are available and a varied mix of different artists will be preferred. Not everyone who applies is guaranteed to be approved, so don't wait to apply!

Come join us and sell your wares at the Northwestern Ontario Métis Community Vendor Market in conjunction with the Grass Roots Art Crawl in Fort Frances, Ontario on September 12, 2025!

Region 1 Mobile Registry
MNO Registry staff will be available to assist with citizenship and/or harvesting applications and file and address updates. Come on a walk-in basis (or call Registry in advance to arrange an appointment). Bring your completed Citizenship or Harvesting application form or get assistance filling out the form from our Registry team. 150th Anniversary Exhibit at the Museum!
September 12th, 2025, marks the 150th anniversary of the Half-Breed Adhesion to Treaty No. 3. This historic agreement made the Northwestern Ontario Métis Community (“NWOMC”) the only Métis community in the Homeland to collectively adhere to one of the numbered treaties.
