Métis Nation of Ontario – Housing Branch Programs

The Housing Branch of the Métis Nation of Ontario is dedicated to addressing the housing needs of Métis individuals and communities throughout the province. Recognizing housing as fundamental to the well-being and prosperity of Métis citizens, the branch operates under the mandate to expand housing options across the entire housing continuum, from homelessness to homeownership.

You can find details about the MNO Housing Branch programs here.

Kenora Métis Housing Development

The Kenora development is currently in the planning process, to allow for a mixed use commercial and residential site of mixed rental units. Preliminary plans include 2 buildings, 1 developed by the MNO and the other by OAHS. The community and local authorities are pleased that the MNO are following processes to ensure the project meets the needs of the community at large. More to come…as this project is in the early initiation phases.
